CarRadar is operated by Params Inc. (주)파람즈, headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently.
CarRadar does not require account creation. We collect: (a) anonymous usage data such as pages visited, search terms, and filters applied — used solely to improve the service; (b) your language preference and connection tier, stored in browser cookies to personalise your experience; (c) cars you mark as Favourites, stored only in your browser's local storage and never sent to our servers.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information unless you contact us directly. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use advertising trackers.
Vehicle listings are sourced from publicly available Korean used car platforms (Encar, KB Chachacha). CarRadar does not store or display personal information about sellers. Prices and availability are provided for informational purposes only.
We use minimal cookies: one to remember your language preference, and one to remember your connection speed tier (slow/normal/fast). No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You may clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
We use Vercel for frontend hosting and AWS for our backend infrastructure. Both are GDPR-compliant. Car images are served directly from the source platforms (Encar, KB Chachacha) and are subject to their respective privacy policies.
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. Since we store no personally identifiable information server-side, your primary data controls are in your browser (clear cookies, clear local storage).
Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 12 months. Server logs are retained for 30 days for security purposes and then deleted automatically.
